Men's Club Championship, plus Gold, Silver and Bronze Salvers

A good weekend's golf, with the weather being kind.

Congratulations go to Tom Bond, who won the Club Championship. Tom scored a 78 on the par 73 Palmerston course and then on Sunday recorded a 77 out on the Melbourne giving him a total of 155. Bill Donaldson and Jim Tadlock ran in 2nd and 3rd, scoring 160 (81 & 79) and 164 (88 & 76) respectively.

Bill also won the Gold Salver, for handicaps 12 and under. His net scores of 71 and 69 put him 6 shots in front of David Wardley who shot 146 (69 & 77). Tom Bond came 3rd in this competition with a net score of 149 (75 & 74).

The Silver and Bronze Salvers were played on the Palmerston on Sunday. James Tsang won the Silver Salver with a net score of 72, whilst Gabriel Alterman's net 74 earnt him the Bronze. Nick Calver (net 73) and David Benson (net 73) came in 2nd and 3rd in the Silver competition, and 2nd spot in the Bronze went to Tim O'Leary with a net 78.
