The Palmerston – a challenging woodland course

The par 73 Palmerston Course, designed by the renowned architect Donald Steel, wends its way through mature woodland. Rare Hornbeam, Scots and Corsican pine and 300 year oak trees create some of the most spectacular hazards you are ever likely to encounter on a golf course.
Together the Melbourne and the Palmerston must justly lay claim to being two of the finest courses in England. They provide the perfect backdrop for the golf tournaments that fill the social calendar. These include Professional and Members’ tournaments as well as Pro-Am tournaments where Members can meet and play with Professionals from around the world.
