Visitors Golf at Brocket Hall

Brocket Hall is a Members' Golf Club, although subject to daily course availability we will welcome visitors from all over the world to play on one of our Championship standard courses - The Melbourne or The Palmerston (named after Lord Palmerston and Lord Melbourne - past occupants of Brocket Hall itself).

Brocket Hall can proudly boast two of the best inland golf courses in the United Kingdom available for visitors.

The Melbourne Course features the River Lea wending it's way through the Estate, with four holes crossing it at various points. It's signature hole the eighteenth, is a par 5 across the water to a well-guarded green - with the Hall as it's spectacular backdrop. Popular with visitors it offers a challenge to the low handicapper and improvers alike.

Similarly you could choose to play our Palmerston Course, a tree lined Championship Course designed by Donald Steele. Eighteen testing holes sculptured through ancient woodland, it offers stunning views from the tees and fairways. Although there are no water hazards to concern you on this one, the undulating and twisting fairways more than compensate.

Visitors golf is available Monday to Friday (December - February) and Monday to Sunday (March - November), and golfers may choose to play on either of our two masterpieces, depending on the Course Allocation for the day. Booking in advance is required. Visitor's / Member's allocation varies daily - please check with our team before placing your booking.
